“A Dream Come True”

It all began when I got called into the management room of the school. I wondered, did I do wrong or am I entering my popular phase? Turns out it was neither, I got invited by my school to join an event in Singapura. I had never expected to go abroad this soon, plus I got paid to go too. Life really has its surprises, eh?

Well, long story short I went there by airplane through the Juanda airport and arrived there, in Singapore. Honestly, to step my foot there feels like a dream come true. We went to eat at a restaurant on literally 2AM. Welp, I still have to prepare for the event now that I’m here. Phew, can’t I have some rest first?

The first 2 days were about the event. So I was presenting my prototype in front of other people who also are presenting their prototypes in turns. I believe all teams went through without any problems. Also congratulations on MAGIC for winning the 2^nd place of this event.

Alright, the first 2 days finally passed, now it’s time for the vacation, at last. So on the last 3 days in Singapore, me and my team went to many places. Festivals, unique places, a beach, we didn’t get to go see the Merlion, though, but I’m still glad that I was able to travel everywhere here, and even bought some souvenirs for my friends and family.

I remember that one time during the trip when I met real cosplayers for the first time. It was when we were leaving Sentosa beach and when I was transferring between MRTs. So I saw this one girl with weird hair and thought to myself  “Damn why she having that brownish pink hair?” and after that I realized that it was the Angel Devil from Chainsaw Man. So I told my friend Dullah and ran all the way along from our MRT to catch up to her and asked her to take a picture with me. Butterflies.

The other was when I was leaving Sentosa beach. When I was spacing out, Dullah nagged me and pointed to the end of the corridor where I see this group of girls with weird colored hair. As soon as I realize it I immediately ran to them with Dullah and begged for a group picture. Literally everyone was surprised by this behavior of mine but in the end they let it slide. Well that’s an interesting chapter of my life. Life sure has it’s own surprises and I don’t know when is it coming. This trip is a real proof. I personally think that this is a good way to close 2022. I don’t know for sure when am I returning there, but I really hope that I can go places like that again soon, with higher spirits and even brighter hopes.
